Welcome!

Welcome to K-6th PE. It is such a fun place to be. Gilbert Public Schools uses an adopted PE program at the elementary level. Our curriculum is designed into three different stages of development to meet the needs of all learners K-6th grade. The lesson plans created by Dr. Robert Pangrazi include four parts. Every lesson we teach has a specific learning task and helps us meet our AZ state and National SHAPE standards.

About Me

I have worked in Gilbert Public Schools since 1999 and I am currently in my 18th year of teaching. I started my career with GPS in K-6 PE then went on to teach 3rd grade and sixth grade for many years, before coming back to PE. This is my second year of teaching PE here at QHE after leaving the 6th Grade team, following an amazing 7 year run. I attended NAU for my undergraduate degree (go Jacks) and received my Masters in Educational Leadership from ASU (go Devils). I am married and my husband and I raise three boys. I enjoy traveling, sports, music, cooking and the great outdoors. I truly am lucky to work with such great students and families here at Quartz Hill. I want kids to develop a love of learning and a love for life long activity. PE is GREAT!
